Listening for agreement is the left side of the brain trying to confirm what it already knows, to stay safe and stay where it is.  

Listening for insight is the right side of the brain activating, the creative side which allows the new in. Its the learning zone, out of tension, out of survival, and open curiously to learn like it was brand new all over again.  If you listen this way, you will grow.
