Why “The Power Of Sharing Concern” Is So Useful

AI is great — it’s been helping me with tons of things — but it cannot replace Real Intelligence. My job is to help you with that.

On that note, let me share one of the most freedom-generating tools with you…

My book The Power Centres includes seven powers, plus bonus chapters, including one on “the third force” — a chapter I recommend all the time.

But there’s one power I didn’t directly speak about in that book:

The Power of Sharing Concern.

If you think about it, we do this all the time. When you ask someone something, it’s usually because you’re not sure — there’s a concern.

It can turn out in two ways:

  1. Very useful: The person knows exactly how to guide you toward a greater place than where you started.

  2. Not so useful: You leave feeling worse, judged, or less psychologically safe.

Let me explain psychological safety:

It’s a term I use a lot when executive leadership coaching. Old-school leaders may see it as “soft,” but it’s powerful.

It’s the feeling of support, acceptance, and non-judgment.

If you don’t feel psychologically safe — with a person, in life, or even around your own thoughts — it changes how your brain works.

I talk a lot about yogic science, so here’s how I layer it on: Modern neuroscience calls it fight or flight. When that’s on, we act from fear rather than freedom. Yogic science says your confident voice and authentic heart can be blocked by a mind-body program stuck in survival mode — hips tight, stomach tense, energy blocked.

Result. Overthinking, digestion issues, intimacy challenges, worry about money, safety, and connection. I’ve experienced it, as have many clients. It sucks. Leech like.

Now, why is the power of shared concern so useful?

Because when you share a concern with someone who truly holds you, accepts you, and supports you, you feel it on a biological level. Scientists have studied this — energy waves transfer between people, even over distance.

I know this to be true. The vibration I send out can be felt, the clients that come into my world come because of this. Even when it feels vulnerable to do so.

This year, more than ever, I’ve been leaning into vulnerability as a superpower.

Brené Brown talks about this — she’s the leading researcher on shame. When we choose safe people to share with, biological shifts occur: digestion improves, energy shifts, freedom occurs.

And amplify this with a professional coach, wise leader, or skilled mentor, and the difference can be quantum timeline shifts.

These people know what they’re doing. The concern flattens… instantly.

I’ve done this all year — edging into the discomfort of sharing what I hold inside. As my brother-in-law said to me: “Share the load.”

A heavy load on one person is hard — secrets, untold thoughts, challenges, potential held in. But a shared load, with skilled and supportive people, can turn into a damn ramp, transforming that energy into fuel for the quantum firework that you are.

That’s the game I play as a coach. I love coaching leaders, purpose-driven change makers, and executives who want to turn challenges into rocket ramps. And it often comes from sharing concern.

Just yesterday, a great coach did this with me: he highlighted my strengths and blind spots in front of a group of amazing, vibrationally-driven people. Being in the gravitation of psychological safety and ramp creating mirrors is extremely useful.

Ever try holding a mirror to the back of your head? Hard, right? Easier when someone takes a photo or tells you what they see. That’s what sharing concern with the right people does.

I’ve screwed something up real bad this year — I haven’t shared publicly, maybe never will. But when I shared with trusted people, I felt relief, guidance, and support.

What do I look for in trusted support? Heart intelligence, leadership, coaching skills, and the ability to listen without judgment.

Listening and sharing concerns with skilled people opens the flower petals up and creates new possibilities.

And that’s why I love doing what I do — building ramps for people, turning dirt into gold. I need it too, which is why I keep masters in my life: point guards, free throwers, get-away drivers.

The power of sharing concern makes us human, and it sometimes frees us more than any solo activity — saunas, workouts, or meditation alone. I’ve spent years mastering my energy, it works, but leaning into vulnerability and the social edge has amplified me into what I call unified mastery mode.

If you want to step into the power of shared concern with me, DM me. I will respect your courage and give you a way to ride the ramp.

If not, find people who will do that for you: skilled, psychologically safe, and able to guide and support.

The power of sharing is most useful for introverts, those trying to do it all alone, ego in the way, scared of judgment — like I was. Watch what happens when you get out of that cycle. I know its helped me greatly.

Back scratching. In the exact right spot…

Remember, nothing is ever really done alone. Even the oceans and air are a part of unified mastery.
